Musing About Zafu.com

So last night was my first time using Zafu.com, and judging from my experience, I’ll give it a 3– at best! Has anyone here had a bad experience over at Zafu? I’d hate to think that it’s just me, but ug! To be honest, I don’t even want to give it another try.

My problem: it was totally unhelpful. While the site looks like it’s going to be very helpful, my search for a bra was not. After going through the steps to find a bra, I received a “No Results” listing– not one. And that was after answering questions about my breast size and shape, support issues, measurements, and all the rest of it. What’s a DD girl to do?

In contrast, I spoke with one loyal reader who told me that Zafus had some great suggestions, fit-wise, and that it worked for her. I’m puzzled– so tell me more about your Zafu experience below! Have you shopped there; would you shop there?

I was so excited to try out Zafu.com. I thought how cool..it will tell me what jeans will fit me the best. This will help minimize my agonizing search for the “perefct jeans.” And it did give me 10 jeans. So far, I have tried on 6 of them and none of them fit right. To say the least, I was disappointed. But, now I decided to try truejeans.com and will let you know accurate their system is.

Thanks for your contribution! It seems like Zafu sort of specializes in plus jeans, since I saw that listed on the side panel, but if their suggestions weren’t spot on, then I am suspicious. There’s also I Love Jeans, but I have to see if they carry plus sizes. I’ve never tried them out. XX Meieli

truejeans.com has you put in your measurements, answer questions about your body type & styles you prefer and then gives you the suggestions. But, I know for a fact that I can’t fit into ANY Lucky Brand jeans and there was 1 on my list. So, this leads me to believe that their method may not be any better than zafu.com. Which, is a bummer because it would be great if somethung like this was accurate. It would save us a great deal of time and money.
