Ruffle Bolero from Evans

Ruffle Bolero from Evans

This Ruffle Bolero has me fascinated. It’s so cute, with its fluttery sleeves and ultra-adorable shape in general, but that bright blue version is pulling me in, and I don’t think that it should. Do I dare try to layer something this bright on top with a big bust? Indeed I shall– and I will update you on the result!

Missphit Floral Halter Tank

Missphit Floral Halter Tank

Once you have the best strapless bra ever, you’ll find that everything is possible. I’m usual petrified of halter tops on myself, but (honestly) I feel like I have been missing out! Simple bright cotton is cool and comfy as well.

Featured Piece from Jessica Svoboda

Jessica Svoboda

This top is on the weird side of nice– I think it would suit a funkier vixen quite nicely indeed, and it’s very fun-looking. If black isn’t your usual look, there’s also a navy or powder blue. It’s available up to 4X (pretty generous at size 26/28), and is interesting enough to become a wardrobe.

Check it out here.

A Brand I Wish Were Plus-Sized. . .

American Apparel Swimsuit

Besides designer pieces that stop at size 10, I find myself wishing that American Apparel would extend sizes or at least start doing true-to-size fitting that’s not on the skimpy side. While a large can work on a generous piece like an oversized tunic, American Apparel pieces don’t really afford that type of give. As much as I’m fascinated by this swimsuit above, I do wish it were available in a larger size so I could try it on and see how ridiculous it actually looks!

Seriously, I covet American Apparel organics, though.

Fashion to Figure Find: Beaded Tunic

Tunic

This Fashion to Figure beaded top has Native American-inspired designs along its shapely scoopneck (which I love!) and a lightweight stretch that’s fit for just about anyone. Unlike a lot of the “banded” sleeveless tanks I’ve been seeing, this one features a nice ruff that runs along the waistline. Available in two colors (brown and rust) up to a size 3X.

Trinidad€ Ruffle Swimsuit

Trinidad€ Ruffle Swimsuit

In my dream world, I wait off on this suit until it becomes drastically low-priced and then I pounce. In reality, I can’t quite imagine that happening, since several of these Monif C. styles sold out as soon as they went up on the site. Order one size up for the perfect fit!

Monif C. Silk Butterfly Dress in Pink

Monif C. Silk Butterfly Dress in Pink

This pink butterfly dress in silk is just what I was craving this summer. For anyone who’s even the littlest bit figure-conscious, keep in mind that this handkerchief neckline will drop down to float past your knees (a major concern area of mine), and also cinches under the bust to define. Beautiful, and well worth the price of $265. It’s also a one-size-fits-all to eliminate the guesswork of sizing.

Women’s Plus Scoop Neck Hoodies from Old Navy

Women's Plus Scoop Neck Hoodies from Old Navy

This scoop-neck top has just the right look for a workout sesh. While I might not be the biggest fan ever of wide-stripe tees, I must say that this one has impressed me with its relaxed vibe and its pretty low-key coolness. All you need to do to pull this one off is slip into a pair of yoga pants and go!

A Nautical Side of Torrid

Black and White Striped

While I wouldn’t exactly style my top like this one with these dark jeans (black pants?), I think that this one has fantastic potential for cuteness. It’s just sweet, and would look nice paired with some eye-possing colors! In addition, this top is a little longer for those who said that many Torrid items are a little on the shorter torso side. Check it out.
