Sunday Round-Up
After a busy day, I’ve had some time to read my usual blogs and check out what’s going on. Without further ado, these were my top choices of the week:
- Pretty Pear talks about Fall Trends. Gray is in, and it’s perfect for plus-size women. It’s better than black because it’s slightly less safe and can be worn all year long.
- Venus Divas gives us 10 Reasons Why We Shouldn’t Put Our Bags on the Floor. Purses are essential for plus-size women–they dress up our “figure safe” colors to keep us from looking boring and can help us look far more proportional.
- Glamour Editor Ashley Baker brings up a good point about footwear in her post This Women’s Lib. Being plus-size makes me think about shoes even more so–flats are comfy, but what about those who do everything in heels? Is it worth it?
- Oldie but Goodie“The Big Size Issue” with Hilary Alexander. I’ve been following the comments since its publication in May.
