I adore this sexy top. . . I think I’m an earth mother at heart. Whenever I see a peasant top, I scoop it up if it looks like it’s going to fit. I think it’s those tassels at the sleeves that really sold it for me. That decorative banding runs along the neckline to brighten your face, and don’t forget about those gathered bits along the sleeve and neck. Wow!
Check out this top at Avenue.

Beth Ditto is definitely at ease with her body and she’s certainly got a style that all her own. What do you think of Beth Ditto of Gossip? I’ve got a lot of respect for a woman who says something like this: “Give me the job. I want to design. I want you to make clothes for big girls - big boys. I want you to make big sizes.” Me, too!

This bright tee is just what I need to wear with my favorite plain skirts and oversized sunglasses. It’s available in 2X, which means that one-X girls can wear this comfortable.

(
Pink Studio Tate)
I discovered the Fantastic Finds and Deals section at Piperlime, and I’m so glad that I did. I was lucky enough to see lots of wide-foot friendly sandals from Chinese Laundry, Mia, Sam Edelman, and Pink Studio.I’m obsessed with these Pink Studio Tate Sandals that I found for just $60.00, but of course they are only available in medium! I’m up to give them a try anyway.
However, I really like this wide option: Bandolino Ilane Thongs. Check them out!

I’ve put together a sexy little outfit for going out this spring. I have a feeling that these capris are going to make you look much slimmer than your usual slim trousers– there’s just something about that shape–and that Aziza Top adds a nice blousy effect to balance out the trim line of your Gina Pants.

I have a great plus icon who’s actually plus: here’s Charlotte Coyle, born in Ireland, who is represented by Close Models and Wilhemina’s ten20 division. She’s a strong plus advocate who was originally inspired by Sophie Dahl. It’s just too bad that Sophie slimmed down to a smaller size and isn’t half as voluptuous as she once was.
Now this is one beautiful plus icon, but she gives back as well. Charlotte organized the first plus beauty contest in Britain, the Fat Beauty Contest, and often speaks out regarding issues in the full-figured world.
Charlotte’s portfolio is here.

I am currently on the search for bras, and this one is just amazing! I found it over at Figleaves, one of the most comprehensive lingerie sites that also have full-figured styles, and I was very impressed with the fabric, the cut, the trim, and the color. It’s a little bit unusual, but in a cool way that’s just right for “date night”! It’s available up to size 40DDD.
You can find it here.

Since I was tagged to share my beauty secrets by Tris, I thought I would take a lazy Sunday to fill out these questions to fulfill my promise to share every single one of my beauty secrets! (Okay, not all, but almost.) I’ve worked my way through cabinets and cabinets of my supplies to give you the truth on what I like to use on a daily basis, beauty wise, and who I look up to as well.
My Foundation: I love CoverGirl and Maybelline “Instant Rewind,” but I have been using some no-name stuff right now that matches my current skin tone.
My Mascara: I actually use one that I got from a makeup club, and it’s one of the best I’ve ever used, but the label has rubbed off. My second favorite is CoverGirl Marathon.
My Day Cream: I love, love, love Connie Elder. It’s all natural, too.
My Beauty Product Brand: See above!
My Essential Beauty Product: No preference, actually. Perhaps lip exfoliant.
My Favorite Makeup Product: Mascara, without a doubt.
My Perfume: I actually like Victoria’s Secret “Love Spell.” It smells like it would taste good.
Three Products to bring on a Deserted Island: Chapstick with the highest SPF possible, a cooling body mist in citrus, and pure tea tree oil.
Woman I admire for her beauty: Fluvia Lacerda, hands-down.
Woman with the Best Sense of Style: Eva Jeanbart-Lorenzotti– she’s refined and elegant, and an amazing business woman, too.
My Ultimate Dream: To always feel content.
How Do I Define Womanhood: Feeling comfortable in your own skin.
My Favorite Fashion Publication: I’m SO passing on this one. Maybe Vogue, perhaps Vivre’s cool catalog.
I can’t bear to tag anyone right now, but please do let me know if there are any products you want to chime in on.

I’m starting my plus-size modeling search again! Katie Halchishick is a model who you’ve probably seen over at Kiyonna, and I think she has a great plus look. It’s just too bad that I can’t dig up a bio or anything supplementary… I just love her style! Are there any more plus models you admire?
